Our
ARCHERY hunts take place at the beginning of the rut. Expect
to hear bugling bulls during this time of the year! Our methods
of hunting consist of spot and stalk, hunting from ground blinds,
tree stands, and technique calling. These hunts take place in the
Gila National Forest which have the reputation for producing Pope
and Young bulls. Shooting opportunities run approximately 90% —
harvest success of about 55%.

Our MUZZLELOADER hunts take place in the Gila National Forest, this unit is strictly a primitive weapon area only! Methods of hunting will consist of calling, spot and stalk, tree stands, and ground blinds over water and feeding areas. Shooting opportunities run 85% — harvest success 65%. Muzzleloader rifles of .45 cal or larger. In-line muzzleloaders and scopes are legal in New Mexico.

blinds over water holes, spot and stalk and calling. Shooting opportunities
are approximately 75% — harvest success 65%.
